BEVERLY, Mass. (10/16/2025) – For the first time ever, the Conference of New England (CNE) has announced its postseason award winners for women's golf, with three Bison earning recognition.

Kaitlin Baca took home major honors as the 2025 CNE Scholar Athlete of the Year, while junior
Felicia Zander and sophomore
Isabella Fleury each landed on the All-CNE Second Team. With the 2025 fall being the first fully sponsored women's golf season by the CNE, all three Bison are first-time recipients of postseason accolades.
Baca, a native of Webster, Massachusetts, has been with the Bison program since their start three seasons ago, and claims the top scholar honors for her efforts both on and off course. Throughout the campaign, Baca scored a season-low 86 (+15) on two separate occasions, including a top-10 finish at the Westfield State Invitational on September 14
th. In the inaugural CNE Championship last weekend, Baca placed 16
th at 60-over 200 through two rounds.
Along with her Scholar Athlete recognition, Baca was also selected to the All-CNE Community Service Team, recognizing her dedication and devotion to the surround community.
Fleury, from Agawam, Massachusetts, lands on the All-CNE Second Team with the second-lowest average on the season at 87.7 through five rounds played. Fleury has also logged her own season-low round of 87 (+17) twice this fall, most recently in match play against Westfield State on October 7
th. Along with earning Second Team recognition, Fleury was also named the recipient of the CNE Elite 21 Award, presented to the student-athlete (sophomore or above) with the highest cumulative GPA participating in the CNE Tournament in each of the league's 21 championships.
Zander, a Nichols dual-sport athlete from Jarna, Stockholm, Sweden, joined the Bison golf program at the start of the campaign, while also serving as a member of the women's ice hockey program. Currently, Zander leads the team this season with a 85.4 stroke average across five rounds, and has finished in the top 10 in three-of-four tournaments this fall. Those totals included a tie for runner-up finish at the Westfield State Invitational, and a first-place win at the follow-up match play, also against Westfield State.
Both Zander and Fleury claim Second Team honors as top-10 finishers in the CNE Championship, placing seventh and eighth respectively.
