DUDLEY, Mass. (10/11/2025) - The Nichols College field hockey team blanked against Endicott College in their return at home on Saturday at Vendetti Field, 0-9.
The loss for Nichols makes their record 2-11 (0-5 CNE), while Endicott climbs to a record of 12-1 (5-0 CNE).
The game started off with an early score from the Gulls, marking a goal in the 6th minute of the match. Endicott continued it's momentum posting two more goals in the 10th and 14th minutes of the first period. The second period saw the same pressure with goals in the 15th and 19th minutes. Endicott scored their fifth with a goal in the 32nd minute, followed by another off of a penalty stroke awarded in the 40th minute. The final two scores came in the fourth period with goals at the 48 and 54 minute marks.
Despite the score that came with the final horn, Nichols had it's highlights in multiple Bison displaying high levels of performance. Graduate goalkeeper
Fallyn Belisle marked eight saves on the day with 54 minutes of play, followed by Jessica Altemose adding five stops in relief to post 13 total save for the Bison.
Asya Osei-Opoku led Nichols offensively with three shots, two being on goal, and one in the first period that almost scored off a rebound from the Gulls' goalkeeper but ultimately ended wide. Along with Osei-Opoku on the offensive front were

The Bison will return to Vendetti Field for a non-conference match up against Western Connecticut State Univeristy on Tuesday, October 14th, with a start time of 7:00 PM.
