Emily Iannuccilli have been named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Monday.
The Academic All-District Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators from member institutions across the NAIA and NCAA divisions, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined efforts on the field and in the classroom. Academic All-District honorees additionally advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with the first, second and third team honorees to be announced on Tuesday, June 18
th for softball.

Silliman, a sports management major from Rensselaer, New York, was named to the All-CCC Second Team as a first baseman after leading the conference in total putouts (294). As a sophomore with a 3.66 GPA, Silliman was also a standout player at the plate, compiling a stat line of 41 hits, including eight doubles and one homer, 19 RBI, and 23 runs scored, having started in all 44 games this season.
Indyk, a psychology major with a 3.83 GPA, was one-of-two consistent starters in the circle this spring, posting career-best numbers with 10 wins and a 2.38 ERA. The Easthampton, Massachusetts native also pitched nine complete games, earned three saves, and recorded 87 strikeouts through 111.2 innings pitched, while also tossing two shutouts as a starter in 18-of-25 appearances. As a top-10 pitcher in the conference, Indyk was named Third Team All-CCC.
Steiniger, a native Litchfield, New Hampshire, wrapped up the year with a .273 batting average, and a 3.76 GPA from the classroom. With 36 hits in total, she connected 10 doubles and four homers, both of which ranked second on the team, and drove in both a career-high and team-best 30 RBI. Steiniger, who registered nine multi-hit games, was also named Third Team All-CCC following the season.
Iannuccilli, a criminal justice major from Johnston, Rhode Island, was a starter in 40-of-41 appearances throughout her sophomore campaign and was the owner of a 3.82 GPA this year. During that time, she recorded 16 hits, scored 12 runs and plated eight RBI, and went six-for-six in stolen bases, which was good for the team lead.
