Lewiston, Maine (3/17/2024) - The Nichols College Men's Tennis Team fell to Bates College 9-0 in non-confrence action on Sunday Afternoon.
In doubles play, Richard Hartmann and
Caio Dieckmann had a tightly contested match, falling 8-5 in the number one position.
In singles play, Hartmann and Dieckmann again poured on the pressure as they both forced tiebreak sets in their matchps. At number three, Hartmann fell (3-6, 7-6, 0-1) and at number five Dieckmann fell (0-6, 6-4, 0-1).
The Bison return to action on Saturday March 30th at home, as they open Commonwealth Coast Conference play against Wentworth. That match is set for a 12 PM start.
