St. David's, PA (03/14/2024)- The Nichols College Men's Lacrosse team rounded out their 2024 Spring Break Trip with a 11-3 loss against Eastern University Eagles in St. David's, Pennsylvania.
 
The game marked the first meeting between the two programs, who both now sit with 3-3 records on the year.
 
It was the Bison who opened the game scoring just over six minutes into the game, as freshman Shea Ullo scored his second career goal to put the Bison ahead 1-0. The hometown Eagles would then go onto score 4 unanswered goals to round off the score 4-1 at halftime.
 
In second-half action, it was the Bison who scored first again as Kyle Ettenhofer scored an unassisted goal to cut the Eagles lead to 2. The Eagles than added two more goals of their own before graduate student Ryan Warner scored off an assist from John Caserta to keep the Bison within 3.
 
To close out the contest, the Eagle scored 5 unanswered goals, including 3 man-up, to finish with the 11-3 win.
 
In goal for the Bison, Brady Morgan got his sixth start of the season making 17 saves on 26 shots. Carter Renaud made 2 saves in 13 minutes of relief.
 
The Bison now return to New England. Their next game is this Wednesday, March 20^th on the road against the University of Saint Joseph (CT). That game is set for 4 PM in West Hartford.
