(2/21/2024) – The Nichols College men's hockey team gets set to face off against the University of New England in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) First Round on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. from Harold Alfond Forum. The Bison are seeded number six and the Nor'easters are number three for the conference tournament.

Last Trip to the Postseason: This is the first postseason between the teams, since they both met in the CCC Semifinals in 2022. UNE upended Nichols 4-1. Junior

2023-24 Season Series: UNE and Nichols met three times this season with the two of the games needing the shootout to find a winner. The Bison upset the Nor'easters back on December 1, when they topped #12 UNE in a shootout. 2-1. Senior

The match up the following night in Maine, saw the home team garb a 3-2 win over Nichols. Sophomore

Myles Mason both scored for Nichols in the loss. In the final match-up between the team this season, UNE won the shootout 2-0 just 10 days ago.
Who to Watch: Junior
Nathan Carl leads the team in points (17) and assists (12). Carl is also tied for the team lead in goals with five goals. McMahon and junior
Kaiden Scott also have five goals to lead the team.
Bost has appeared in 19 games this season, posting a 4-10-4 record. Bost has a 2.71 goals against average and a .922 save percentage.
