SMITHFIELD, RI (01/20/23) – The Nichols College Bison Men's Tennis program opened their 2024 spring season with a 7-0 defeat against the Division I Bryant University Bulldogs at the Fore Courts in Smithfield, Rhode Island on Saturday.
The Bison fell in all three double matches, with the Bison duo of
Kerem Subasi / Trevor Schwarzmann posting the 6-4 defeat at number two in the closest doubles matchup.
In singles action, Bison junior
Enzo Matos Balleux took Bryant's Diego Terso to three sets, ultimately falling (6-3, 3-6, 6-0) at the number four matchup.
The Bison will continue their quest for a consecutive Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championship as they take on Babson College in non-conference action on Sunday, February 4
th at the Fore Courts in Smithfield, Rhode Island.
