Dudley, Mass. (9/30/23) – The Nichols College Women's Soccer team were blanked by the Curry College Colonels in the 2023 homecoming finale on the hill. The Colonels took the Commonwealth Coast Conference matchup by a score of 4-0.
 
With the loss, Nichols falls to 2-6-1 (0-3 CCC) the year, while the Colonels step up to 2-4-4 (1-2-0 CCC).
 
Curry opened the scoring two minutes into the contest, when freshman Abby Corcoran netted her first collegiate goal. Curry would go on to see two more goals before the close of the first half, with Maddie Resendes and Madison Frye each finding the back of the net.
 
The Bison we able to slow the scoring down in the second half, but Frye would go onto add her second of the match in the 71^st minute.
 
In the back for the Bison, sophomore Saige Frazier recorded 3 saves in 32 minutes of action, and junior Adie Hughes made 7 saves in 58 minutes of relief action.

The Women's Soccer Team returns to action on Monday October 2^nd as they take on Emmanuel College (MA) in a rescheduled non-conference matchup. The match is set to start at 4 PM on the Nichols Soccer Field.
