WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Nichols men's tennis team saw its season end in the NCAA Second Round at the hands of No. 11 Bowdoin on Saturday afternoon at the Hunt Tennis Center on the campus of Williams College. The Bison finish their season with a 14-10 record, while the Polar Bears (16-4) advance to Sunday's Regional Final against the host institution, and NESCAC foe, Williams.
Nichols' season was one for the books, as the team won all 10 matches against Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) opponents, including conference semifinal and championship wins last week, to advance to its 13th NCAA Tournament appearance via the CCC's auto-bid.
Head coach
Ron Gendron and company will return to competition in the fall, eager for another trip to the national stage.
