POMFRET, Conn. – The Nichols men's tennis team cruised by Suffolk in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) clash on Saturday night at the Blodget Tennis Center at the Pomfret School by a final score of 9-0. With the win, the Bison improved to 5-8 (2-0 CCC), while Suffolk dropped to 1-3 (0-3 CCC) in the setback.
The three Nichols doubles teams lost one combined game to run away with three doubles points and lead the match 3-0 early. Shortly after, a
Leon Zeis 6-0, 6-0 second singles win clinched the match, as the Bison made short work of the visitors in singles play to remain unbeaten in CCC play.
The Bison are set to host Curry in a 3:30 p.m. matchup at the Robinson Tennis Courts on Wednesday, April 5.
