SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Nichols women's tennis team fell to NCAA Division I opponent Bryant in it's season finale on Saturday afternoon at the Bryant Tennix Complex.
Bryant got out to quick 1-0 lead by clinching the doubles matches. Antonia Carrero and Charis Vogler put up a hard fought battle on court one, but fell just short, 6-4.
The Bison would take to the courts for singles and would put up a fight. Charis Vogler played a close match at No. 2, but was eventually defeated by a score of 6-3, 6-2. The Bulldogs would go on to take the match in a court six victory.
The Bison, under the direction of first year head coach Ron Gendron, conclude their 2022-23 campaign with an overall record of 10-11 and a 5-2 league ledger. The season was highlighted by a berth in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) title match in November, as well as a slew of challenging non-conference contests.
