NEW HAVEN, C.T. (12/9/23) – In the final game of the 2023 portion of the season the Nichols College men's hockey team dropped a non-conference match up to Albertus Magnus on Saturday evening. The Bison lost 6-0 to the Falcons.

Both junior Tyler Bost and freshman Nick Anderson made appearances in between the pipes for the Bison. Bost stopped 43 shots and Anderson made 13 saves in relief.

Neither team scored in the opening 20 minutes of the game. The Bison were outshot 17 to 13 by the Falcons. It was Albertus Magnus who broke the 0-0 tie in the second period and added their second goal of the period at the 17:28 mark of the period.

The third period was more of the same from the Falcons as they scored four goals in the period for a 6-0 final score. Nichols was 6-6 on the penalty kill and 0-3 on the power-play in the game.

Nichols enters the winter break and will return to action next year as they play in the Boston Landing Collegiate Invitational and face off against Southern New Hampshire University on January 6^th with a 4:40 p.m. puck drop.
