DUDLEY, Mass. (10/30/23) – The Nichols College field hockey team is seeded fifth in the CCC Field Hockey Tournament and will face off against the fourth seeded Western New England University Golden Bears on Tuesday evening from Golden Bear Stadium.

The Bison and Golden Bears met earlier this season, with the Golden Bears posting a 6-0 shut out of the Bison. Nichols has a 20-22-1 record all-time against Western New England.
The Bison are making their first CCC tournament appearance in 10 years, when they faced off against the University of New England back on November 6, 2013. The Bison lost 5-0.

Taylor Breen leads the Bison in goals and points for the team with eight goals and 20 points for her sophomore campaign. Junior

Katherine Hearn earned herself a CCC Rookie of the Week (October 23, 2023) nod, thanks to scoring the game winning goal against Gordon College.
The Bison will face off against the Golden Bears with the game starting at 7 p.m. from Golden Bear Stadium.
