WENHAM, Mass. (10/28/23) – The Nichols College men's cross-country team raced in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championships hosted by Gordon College on Saturday morning. The Bison finished in sixth place with 177 points.
Roger Williams captured the CCC title posting 42 points in the win, with an average time of 26:37.5. This is the Hawks third straight CCC win.
Senior
Domenic Savastano was the Bison's top finisher, clocking a 28:39.4 which placed him 34th overall in the field. Junior
Gregory Sadlak was the next Nichols finisher, with a 28:56.1. Freshman
Jack Crowley crossed the line third for the Bison with a 29:29.5 effort.
Junior
Ryan Rispoli clocked a 29:51.1 which was good for fourth place on the team. Classmate
Jack Hearn finished the race with a 30:16.9 overall and fifth on the team. Freshman
Patrick Bergin was next to cross the line for the Bison with a 31:42.5.
Graduate Student
Gregory Raso capped of his race with a 32:23.9 for Nichols. Junior
Christopher Cowles finished with a 34:29.1 in the race for the Bison.
Nichols will wrap up the year in two weeks as they travel to Hopkinton, New Hampshire for the NCAA East Regional Championship held at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds.
