New London. Conn. (10/01/23). – The Nichols Women's Tennis team blew past the Connecticut College Camels in a Sunday morning matchup in New London, Connecticut. The Bison cruised to a 6-1 victory over the home side.
With the win, Nichols moves to 4-1 (2-1 CCC) on the year, bouncing back from a loss to Endicott College earlier this week.
Nichols came out stampeding and took all three doubles matchups with Bison
Antonia Carrero / Charis Vogler picking up an 6-4 victory and #1 doubles, team captains
Kelley Carlin/Jordan Knowles picking up a win 6-2 at #2 doubles and Sophia Leonardi / Johanna Schroeder getting an 7-5 win at #3 doubles.
When it was time for singles, 5 of 6 Bison in action got the win in their matchups. Carrero won in the number one position (7-5, 6-3), and Schroeder, Vogler, Brosch, and Magrin all won their respective matchups.

The team returns back home to the hill, as they have a date with Commonwealth Coast Conference foe Suffolk University at the Robinson Tennis Court. The match is set for Wednesday October 4
th at 4 PM.
