Women’s Volleyball Blanks Lesley in Doubleheader

DUDLEY, Mass. – The Nichols women's volleyball team defeated Lesley in straight sets in both matches of Monday's doubleheader at the Nichols Athletics Center.
 
Junior Liz Diorio led the way for Nichols (3-0) with 10 services aces in the first match, as the Bison cruised to a three-set sweep: 25-2, 25-2, 25-6.
 
In the second contest of the afternoon, Nichols leaned on freshman Kya Burdier, who provided 14 aces in the 25-1, 25-4, 25-2 victory.
 
The Bison will remain on their home court for the next matchup against Mass. Maritime, slated for Wednesday, September 7 at 7 p.m.
