AUBURNDALE, Mass. - The Nichols field hockey program fell to Lasell University, 2-1, Tuesday night at Grellier Field.
The Lasers (4-2) opened the scoring less than four minutes into the contest. They extended the lead to 2-0 in the second quarter.

Taylor Breen found the back of the net for the sixth time this season in the closing minutes of the third quarter. With the goal, Breen now leads the team in goals as well as points, and is tied for first in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) in goals. Classmate
Kaelyn Casper recorded her first career assist on the strike.
The Bison (4-4) return to action Saturday, September 24, when they travel to Gordon College for a 12:00 p.m. CCC matchup.
