SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Junior Ryan Warner and sophomore Blake Covell each scored two goals in No. 6 Nichols College's 20-7 loss to No. 1 Western New England Wednesday afternoon in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Lacrosse Semifinals at Golden Bear Stadium.

Seniors Jarrod Sweeney and Connor Santoni, along with freshman CJ Cadigan, also found the back of the net as the Bison (8-11) were unable to spring an upset in the playoffs for the second-consecutive outing.

Senior and CCC Third Team selection Hunter Ferreira handed out a pair of assists while senior Scott Ehrenberg and sophomore Sam Reisman each picked up three ground balls. Freshman Brady Morgan recorded 20 saves in the crease for Nichols.

The Golden Bears (13-5) held a 63-23 edge in shots and won the ground ball battle 39-17.
