WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Nichols College men's tennis team defeated Manhattanville College 5-0 in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament Friday morning at the Torrence M. Hunt Tournament Courts on the campus of Williams College.
The Bison swept all three doubles matches to grab an early 3-0 lead. Sophomore

Adrian Toderascu were 8-7 winners at No. 1 doubles while sophomore

Mortiz Kern scored an 8-2 win at No. 2 and freshmen

Enzo Matos Balleux were 8-4 winners at No. 3.

Trevor Schwarzmann each registered singles wins in relatively quick fashion to give the Bison (17-5) their seventh NCAA Tournament victory. Siles recorded a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles while Schwarzmann was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at No. 2.
Nichols – which has advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament seven times since 2012 – will face the Ephs Saturday morning in Williamstown.
