MIDDLETOWN, R.I. – The Nichols College women's lacrosse team closed its record-breaking 2022 campaign with a 17-5 loss to Salve Regina University Saturday afternoon in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Quarterfinals at Gaudet Field.

Senior Sam Ahaesy and junior Mackenzie Doran each found the back of the net twice for the Bison, who close their season with a program-record 11 wins and their first playoff berth since 2011.

Freshman and CCC Second Team pick Hadley Houghton added to her single-season goal record with her 56^th of the season while junior and CCC Third Team pick Erin Anthony led NC with four ground balls and also caused a pair of turnovers.

The Seahawks outshot the Bison 38-21.
