DUDLEY, Mass. – The Nichols College baseball team swept a key home Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) doubleheader from Suffolk University Saturday at the Nichols Baseball Field.
Game One: Bison 10, Rams 3

DJ Caron went 4-for-5 with a two-run triple and four RBI while classmate
Victor Valentin picked up a run-scoring single and double in a seven-run win. Sophomore

Justin Hurley held the Rams to two runs over 7.1 innings while striking out six to even his record at 4-4.
Game Two: Bison 4, Rams 3
After sophomore
Brennan Hyde tied the game with a home run to lead off the bottom of the ninth, Ellis smacked his second round tripper of the season as the Bison walked off the Rams and improved to 17-15-1 on the season (7-7-1 CCC). Valentin belted a two-run home run in the third and also scored a run. Freshman
Ben Weber got the start on the bump and allowed three runs on seven hits in 6.1 innings of work while striking out three. Senior
Owen Sullivan tossed the final 2.2 innings and picked up his second win of the season, mowing down five Rams while not allowing a hit.
