DUDLEY, Mass. – The Nichols College softball team rebounded from a 6-5 loss to Dean College in the opener to score an 8-0 victory in the nightcap of Wednesday's non-conference doubleheader on Senior Day at the Nichols Softball Field.
Game One: Bulldogs 6, Bison 5

Jayda Cesar went 1-for-2 with an RBI double and later scored on a single off the bat of classmate
Hailey Bogusz. Junior

Felicia Burgos also picked an RBI for the Bison, who surrendered four runs in the seventh. Senior
Candice Nelson struck out seven over 6.2 innings of work in defeat.

Lilly Fangel each collected two hits and drove in two runs for the Bison (12-18). Junior
Allie Brown also drove in a pair of runs while Bogusz and freshman
Erin Gour also plated runs while junior
Alyssa Ouellette went the distance in the circle to pick up her fifth win of the season. She scattered four hits over five innings to go with three walks and four strikeouts.
