Tanner Soracco picked up 21 kills in Nichols College's 3-2 loss to Rivier University Saturday afternoon in non-conference men's volleyball action at the Nichols Athletic Center.
Soracco – who posted a .421 hitting pct. – also picked up five digs, five blocks while senior
Ray Wang registered 16 kills, five digs and five blocks. Sophomore
Nick Martin handed out 50 assists for NC, which also saw junior
Nicholas Basco notch a team-leading 10 digs and sophomore
Nick Lavrenchuk collect seven kills, four digs, and a pair of blocks.
The Raiders (8-6) won rallied from a two-sets-to-one deficit to win in five 25-27, 25-22, 16-25, 25-23, 15-8. David Smith led all student-athletes with 25 kills (.409 hitting pct.).
