DUDLEY, Mass. – Freshman Hadley Houghton scored four goals – including the game-winner with 1:37 remaining in regulation – to lift the Nichols College women's lacrosse team to a 9-8 win over Salem State Wednesday evening in non-conference action at Vendetti Field.

Junior Mackenzie Doran added a pair of goals and senior Brooke Pelley collected two assists as the Bison improved to 6-2 on the season. Junior Erin Anthony racked up a team-high six ground balls while Houghton notched five and sophomore Madison Robichaud caused a pair of turnovers.

Sophomore Keri Tremblay came on to start the second half and recorded four saves to earn her first win of the season. Senior Sabrina Dembro got the start and stopped four shots.
