Kara Santoro scored a pair of goals and picked up an assist for the Nichols College women's ice hockey team in a 4-3 loss to the University of New England Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Semifinal action at Levy Rink.

Victoria Bakopanos recorded 39 saves and finished her first season in Dudley with a 1.74 goals against average (GAA) and a .943 save pct. – both marks stand as the second-highest in single season history.
Nichols fell behind 2-0 before Santoro's seventh goal of the season cut the UNE lead in half. In the second period, Portt's power-play marker off a feed from Santoro at the point knotted the game at two after 40 minutes of play.

The contest marked the 100th career game for both McAleer and classmate
Jordyn McGuire. McAleer graduates as the program's all-time leading scorer with 104 points and tied for the program-record with 48 goals.
