Hunter Ferreira and
Cian Keohane each scored three goals in Nichols College's 11-10 overtime loss to UMass Boston Wednesday afternoon in non-conference men's lacrosse action at Vendetti Field.
Ferreira also finished with a pair of assists while freshman
Dylan DeRubeis found the back of the net twice for the Bison. Sophomore
Nick Gualtieri collected two assists while sophomore
Colby Gillis collected a team-high eight ground balls and senior
Scott Ehrenberg won 16-of-24 at the X.Sophomore
Brady Morgan notched 17 saves in goal for Nichols.
The Bison held a 54-44 edge in shots and racked up 46 ground balls, compared to 36 for the Beacons. UMB was also 2-for-9 with the extra man.
