MILTON, Mass. - The Nichols men's soccer program played to a 1-1 draw with Curry College in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Walter M. Katz Field Saturday afternoon.
The Bison (7-4-3, 0-1-3 CCC) got out to a 1-0 lead at the 22:40 mark of the first half thanks to a strike by freshman
Brady Stevenson. Senior
Dawson Quint sent a cross to sophomore
William Savage, who was able to bump the ball to Stevenson for the strike.
Curry (6-3-2, 1-2-1 CCC) was able to tie the match late in the second half when a chip shot by Aidan Auclair found the back of the net.
Freshman goalkeeper
Derek Axon recorded six saves on the contest, his second highest mark of the season.
Nichols heads on the road Tuesday, October 11, for a 7:00 p.m. CCC matchup with Endicott College at Hempstead Stadium in Beverly, Mass.
