DUDLEY, Mass. - The Nichols field hockey program fell to Mount Holyoke College, 5-0, in non-conference action at Vendetti Field Tuesday night.

The Bison (5-12) held the Lyons (4-11) scoreless for the first quarter of the match before the Lyons found the back of the net 46 seconds into the second frame. They would tack on one more before the end of the half, netting their next three in third quarter.

Nichols senior netminder Megan Fuchs recorded seven saves on the night, while her Mount Holyoke counterparts combined for six.

Prior to the match, the program recognized seniors Fuchs and Erin Anthony for their contributions to the program over the past four years.

Nichols heads on the road Saturday, October 29, to face Endicott College in their Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) regular season finale at 1:00 p.m. in Beverly, Mass. at North Field.
