DUDLEY, Mass. - The Nichols women's soccer program fell to the University of New England in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday afternoon at the Nichols Soccer Field.
The Bison (7-8-2, 2-6-0 CCC) got on the board first as senior
Emma Noel sent a pass to sophomore
Natalie Gray, who stopped the ball for junior
Grace Killman. Killman took a strike from deep that found the back of the net.
The lead would not last long, however, as the Nor'easters (9-4-3, 4-1-3 CCC) would net three goals in a 15 minute span.
Following the match, the team recognized seniors
Amanda Simco,
Niah Samboy, and Noel for their contributions to the program in their time on the field.
The Bison will head to Bristol, R.I. on Tuesday, October 25, to face Roger Williams in their regular-season finale at Bayside Field.
