Lucas Andersson potted a power-play goal 8:21 into the third period to propel the Nichols College men's ice hockey team to a 5-4 win over Western New England University Sunday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Olympia Ice Center.

Nathan Carl added a goal and two assists for the Bison (4-11-1, 3-11-0 CCC), who have won two of their last three games. Senior

Junior
Korbinian Lutz came off the bench midway through the second period and stopped 13 of the 14 shots he faced to earn his third win of the season. The Bison killed off all five Golden Bears (4-11-2, 2-10-1 CCC) power-play opportunities and each team fired off 29 shots.
A total of nine different NC student-athletes recorded at least one point.
