FITCHBURG, Mass. – Seniors Nicholas McGrath and Vinny Gattuso each scored goals for the Nichols College men's soccer team in a 2-1 win at Fitchburg State University Saturday afternoon in non-conference action at Elliott Field.

Juniors Dawson Quint and Nikolas Padilla collected assists for the Bison (1-0) while freshman Franco Barreto Santana recorded two saves in his first collegiate match.

The contest was tied 17 minutes into the second half when Quint found McGrath for his first collegiate tally at 62:54. Nichols finished the match with a 20-6 edge in shots.
