DUDLEY, Mass. – The Nichols College women's tennis team knocked off Emerson College 8-1 Sunday afternoon in non-conference action at the Robinson Tennis Courts.
Freshman
Antonia Carrero was a 6-2, 6-2 winner at No. 1 singles and teamed with sophomore
Kelley Carlin for an 8-7 (7-3) win at No. 2 doubles. Senior
Kara Stankewitz rallied after dropping the first set at No. 2 singles to secure a 4-6, 6-3, 10-6 win and also won at No. 1 doubles (8-6) with junior
IsaBella Winter.
Freshman
Johanna Schroeder picked up a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles and was an 8-3 winner at No. 3 doubles with sophomore
Jordan Knowles. Other winners included Carlin a No. 4 singles (6-1, 6-0) and freshman
Camila Magrin at No. 6 singles (6-2, 6-3).
