Salve Regina defeats Nichols in men's soccer

NEWPORT, R.I. – The Nichols College men's soccer team was defeated by Salve Regina University 4-0 Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Toppa Field.

Freshman goalkeeper Franco Barreto Santana recorded five saves in the loss for the Bison (3-2-0, 0-1-0 CCC). Senior Nicholas McGrath had a pair of shots for NC.

The Seahawks (3-3-1, 1-0-0 CCC) outshot the Bison and scored the only goal they would need 15 minutes into the match.
