BEVERLY, Mass. – The Nichols College women's tennis team was defeated by Endicott College 5-1 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship match Saturday afternoon. The meeting marked the ninth all-time in the conference finals between the Bison and Gulls, who now hold a slim 5-4 edge in the series.

Kara Stankewitz was a straight sets winner at No. 2 singles, defeating Gretta Hartmann 6-1, 6-1.
The Gulls swept all three doubles matches as Hartman and Frenanda Trevino defeated Stanketwiz and freshman

Jordan Knowles suffered an 8-2 loss at No. 2 doubles to Justine Hoover and Ashley Keaveney while seniors

Trevino defeated Knowles 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 singles for the fourth Endicott point before Hoover clinched the match with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Winter at No. 1 singles.
The Bison – who were seeking their fifth-straight conference crown – finish the season 6-2.
