DUDLEY, Mass. – Junior
Jayleen Fegan picked up a match-high 19 kills and 11 digs in Nichols College's five-set win over Western New England University Thursday night in women's volleyball action at the Nichols Athletic Center.
The team's traded wins all night with the Bison winning the first set, 27-24. The Golden Bears bounced back and won the second set, 25-13, before NC won the third 25-22 to grab a 2-1 lead. WNE evened the match at two with a 25-14 win in the fourth set before the Bison snared the fifth set, 15-11.
Sophomore
Madison Perrotti also collected a double-double with 11 kills and 17 digs, while junior
Lindsey Rugg racked up 38 assists and 15 digs for the Bison. Freshman libero
Liz Diorio notched a match-high 21 digs and juniors
Emily Tinyszin and
Regan Richard combined for 13 kills.
