BEVERLY, Mass. – The Nichols College baseball team lost a pair of games at Endicott College Friday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) baseball action at North Field.
Game One – Gulls 11, Bison 3
Graduate student
Kyle Bouchard went 3-for-4 with an RBI and freshman
Brennan Hyde drove in a run for the Bison. Junior
Brendan Duffy started on the bump and allowed four hits and three runs to go with two walks and five strikeouts over 3.2 innings.
Game Two – Gulls 6, Bison 5
The Bison (3-8, 1-5 CCC) carried a 3-0 into the fifth behind an RBI triple from graduate student
Jack Arend and a pair of RBI from Bouchard. Later, the Bison tied the game at five in the top of the ninth on an RBI double off the bat of senior
Nathaniel Cormier. The Gulls (4-1, 4-0 CCC) walked off in the ninth courtesy of an RBI triple from Liam Crovo. Senior
Justin Hurley fanned seven over 7.1 innings of work and took a no-decision. He gave up four hits and four earned runs to go with one walk.
