SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Nichols College men's tennis team knocked off Western New England University by a score of 8-1 Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Volvo Tennis Courts.

Freshman Niklas Koehne was a 6-4, 6-1 winner at No. 1 singles and teamed with senior Sam Kluger for an 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles. Kluger also won at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-7, 7-5.

Freshman Caio Dieckmann was a 6-2, 6-2 winner at No. 4 singles and, alongside junior Enrico Menegon, scored an 8-3 win at No. 2 doubles. The No. 3 doubles team of senior Brendan Stierli and freshman Ko Nishimura won 8-3; Nishimura also picked up a win at No. 5 singles (6-2, 6-3).

Junior Lane Parks was a 6-2, 6-1 winner at No. 6 singles.
