DUDLEY, Mass. – Senior
Shannon St. Lawrence filled the stat sheet with nine points and 11 rebounds in her final collegiate game for the Nichols College women's basketball team, a 59-49 win over Curry College Saturday afternoon at the Nichols Athletic Center.
Sophomore
Leandra Ortiz led all student-athletes with 12 points to go with eight boards for the Bison (5-5), who finished the abbreviated season with a .500 record for the first time since the 2009-10 campaign, when they posted a 12-12 mark. The Bison close the 2020-21 campaign winners of three of their last four.
Nichols outrebounded the Colonels 52-46 and forced 17 turnovers behind four from sophomore
Erin Cann, who also picked up seven points, four boards, and a pair of steals for head coach
MaryLynn Skarzenski. Senior
Isabella Nerney registered five points, seven rebounds, and four assists in her final game at Nichols.
