Bison hit the boards to defeat Colonels

DUDLEY, Mass. – Freshman Matt Lasalandra scored a team-high 18 points to help the Nichols College men's basketball team secure an 81-69 win over Curry College Friday night at the Nichols Athletic Center.

Junior Jason O'Regan recorded a double-double with 17 points and 13 boards in 29 minutes for the Bison (4-5), who ran their win streak against the Colonels (0-7) to 16, dating back to November 28, 2012. Classmate Ferryton Kpalie also finished with career-highs in both points (13) and rebounds (15) while senior Matt Morrow filled the stat sheet with eight points, 10 rebounds, and two dimes.

The Bison held a 58-44 edge on the glass and converted 22 turnovers into 21 points.
