Bison blank Badgers to earn first win of 2021

DUDLEY, Mass. - Backed by seven kills and a .429 hitting pct. from sophomore Jake Harasyko, the Nichols College men's volleyball team rolled to a 3-0 win over Northern Vermont University-Johnson Wednesday night in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action at the Nichols Athletic Center.

Junior Sean Jackson tallied six kills and an .857 hitting percetage as the Bison (1-4, 1-4 NECC) won game one 25-16, game two 25-18, and game three 25-12. Sophomore Ethan Powers recorded three solo blocks to go with six kills (.600 hitting pct.) while graduate student Kevin Keohane and freshman Nick Martin combined for 25 assists.  

Sophomore libero Nicholas Basco led all student-athletes with 11 digs while Keohane registered nine. Nichols finished the night with a .284 hitting pct. compared to -.053 for the Badgers.
