Game Recap: Women's Ice Hockey |

Hawks defeat Bison in season finale, 4-2

HARRISVILLE, R.I. – Senior Mel McAleer collected a goal and an assist in Nichols College's 4-2 loss to Becker College Saturday night in women's ice hockey action at Levy Rink. The Bison finished the abbreviated 2020-21 campaign with a mark of 0-4-1.

Sophomore Sarah Zeidan scored her first of the season while both senior Kara Santoro and junior Katelyn Joyal picked up assist for the Bison, who outshot the Hawks 39-34 and were 0-for-4 on the power play. Senior netminder Abby Bassett turned aside 30 saves in her final collegiate contest for NC.

Sophomores Katie Puumala and Cassidhe Wozniak each scored twice for Becker (6-5-1).
