WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior
Oliver Arnberg and junior
Curtis Carlson each recorded a goal and an assist in Nichols College's 5-2 win over Becker College Saturday night in men's ice hockey action at the Worcester Ice Center.
Junior
Petr Miko, along with sophomores
Conor Leonard and
Austan Bellefeuille, also found the back of the net as the Bison (2-3-0) saw freshman netminder
Mathias Backstrom turn aside 35 shots to earn his first collegiate win. A total of 11 student-athletes recorded at least one point for Nichols.
Tristan Mock and Romain Wild scored for the Hawks, who outshot the Bison 37-20 but failed to score on all four power play chances. Becker finished the two-game set against NC 0-for-13 with the extra attacker.
