DUDLEY, Mass. – Senior
Isabelle Nerney rattled home five 3-pointers and finished with 25 points as the Nichols College women's basketball team defeated Gordon College 74-60 Friday night at the Nichols Athletic Center.
She also pulled down 10 rebounds for the Bison (3-4) while freshman
Summer Klein netted 16 points and sophomore
Leandra Ortiz chipped in with 14 points and a pair of steals. Senior
Shannon St. Lawrence picked up a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds as Nichols overcame a 49-32 rebound disparity to secure the win.
Caroline Sikkink notched a double-double for the Fighting Scots (4-3) with 19 points and 11 boards. Serianna Anderson also finished with double digits in points (11) and rebounds (13) as Gordon turned the ball over 30 times, which led to 19 NC points.
