Bryson Andrews scored 23 points in his second collegiate game for the Nichols College men's basketball team, which was defeated by Suffolk University 117-96 Saturday afternoon at Larry E. Smith and Michael S. Smith Court.

The Rams (2-0) shot 62 percent from the field (40-of-65) – including 20-of-30 from downtown (67 percent) – and were paced by senior Alex Jackovides, who canned six of seven from three-point land and finished with a game-high 31 points. Classmate Nate Hale sank eight of his 13 field goal attempts and closed the afternoon with 22 points.
Suffolk held a 41-27 edge on the glass and won despite committing 23 turnovers.
