Leopards shut down Bison

EVERETT, Mass. – The Nichols College men's ice hockey team was blanked by Wentworth Institute of Technology 3-0 Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Allied Veterans Rink.

Senior Petr Miko had a team-high four shots for the Bison (2-7-1, 1-7-0 CCC), who were outshot 30-19. Senior captain Curtis Carlson won 14-of-23 face-offs and classmate Justin Perron was 7-of-8. Junior netminder Korbinian Lutz stopped 27 shots between the pipes.

Kevin Obssuth picked up two goals and an assist for the Leopards (3-7-2, 2-5-1 CCC) while Joey O'Leary collected three points on a goal and two helpers.
