Jakigh Dottin scored a game-high 24 points to lift the Nichols College men's basketball team to a 95-78 win over Plymouth State University in the season-opener for both Friday night in non-conference action at the Nichols Athletic Center.

Nichols – which rallied from an eight-point halftime deficit to win – shot 48 percent from the field and knocked down nine triples. Spencer tied the game at 66 with a three-pointer at 7:35 before a pair of free throws from O'Regan one minute later gave the Bison the lead for good.
Manny Sanchez paced the Panthers (0-1) with 17 points while Devin Cooper chipped in with 16 points.
