Nichols falls to Curry in CCC action

HARRISVILLE, R.I. – Senior Curtis Carlson and freshman Nathan Carl each scored goals in Nichols College's 6-2 loss to Curry College in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's ice hockey action Friday night at Levy Rink.

Carlson's goal was the first short-handed marker for the Bison (1-5-1, 0-5-0 CCC) this season and came on a breakaway in the second period. Sophomore Quinn McCarthy picked up the lone apple on Carl's second tally of 2020-21.

Junior Korbinian Lutz registered 45 saves as NC was outshot 51-14. Timmy Kent paced the Colonels (6-0-1, 4-0-0 CCC) with a goal and two assists.
