Max Newnam scored his second goal of the season in Nichols College's 4-3 loss to Salve Regina University Saturday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's ice hockey action at Levy Rink.

Conor Leonard also scored for the Bison (1-3-1, 0-3-0 CCC), who were outshot 29-21 on the evening. Junior
Korbinian Lutz recorded 25 saves as Nichols went 0-for-5 with the man advantage and also killed off a five-minute major in the third period.
Sophomore
Philip Bjorkman collected his team-leading fourth assist for the Bison on Leonard's first goal of the season. Freshman
Luke Harvie collected his first collegiate point - an assist - on Newnam's marker.
Senior captain George Sennott scored twice for the Seahawks (2-2-0, 2-1-0 CCC), including the game-winning goal midway through the third period.
