Wellesley shuts down Nichols

WELLESLEY, Mass. – The Nichols College field hockey team was defeated by Wellesley College 8-0 in non-conference action Thursday night at Butler Stadium.

The Bison – who were outshot 28-5 – were led in shots by junior Mackenzie Doran with three. Junior Megan Fuchs recorded three saves in goal before being replaced by freshman Sophia Venable, who recorded seven second half saves.
