BIDDEFORD, Maine – Sophomores Colby Knight and Miron Jusufi scored first half goals for the Nichols College men's soccer team in a 2-0 win at the University of New England Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Barbara J. Hazard Field.

Graduate student Nick Cancellaro added an assist for the Bison (5-8-0, 1-7-0 CCC), who received a combined shutout from sophomore and starting keeper Luke Speers and sophomore Franco Barreto Santana; the latter was credited with two saves.

Knight opened the scoring at 18:40 of the first half with his second goal of the season. Less than 15 minutes later, Jusufi doubled the NC lead when he potted his second goal of 2021 at 33:19.

Nichols outshot UNE 15-5.
